InMoment - Mindshare Technologies
InMoment, Inc. is a customer experience management company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company provides services that allow other businesses to collect and organize data on their customer base and the effectiveness of their customer service.
History
InMoment was originally founded in 2002 by John Sperry and Kurt Williams under the name Mindshare Technologies. The company focused on development of technology that allowed clients to automate and analyze their customer service workflow.
In 2011, Mindshare Technologies received a $20 million investment from Sorenson Capital.
In September 2013, Mindshare Technologies acquired Empathica for an undisclosed amount. In June 2014, the company changed its name to InMoment.
Products and services
Experience Hub
The Experience Hub is a system that aggregates data from InMoment services and other sources to allow a company to manage and take action on customer experience data. The system connects with management tools allowing businesses to share customer feedback with employees it is pertinent to.
Voice of the Customer (VoC)
The Voice of the Customer system is a set of tools that provides feedback and alerts to a business's employees based on incoming feedback and data.
GoRecommend
InMoment's GoRecommend product provides customers with a social feedback outlet at the end of a positive experience, then measures the effectiveness of this review or recommendation.
OpenTell
OpenTell is a review system designed to present potential customers with more relevant information about businesses by providing a representative sample of reviews. It is advertised as an alternative to other third-party review sites.
Locations
As of 2016, InMoment's headquarters is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company also has two offices outside the United States, which are located in Mississauga and Birmingham.
